Shaped like a tortoise to symbolise longevity and prosperity. Served on birthdays, weddings and baby full-month celebrations.
Soft and chewy cake, made with sweet potatoes and glutinous rice flour and filled with a variety of fillings. We offer 6 choices:

Our most popular item on the menu.
We use yellow Cassava, mixed with coconut milk, sugar and a big pinch of salt.
Aromatic, caramelised, tender, moist.
Mum’s favourite kuih (the off-cuts are the best parts).

Srimuka | Pandan Custard on Rice
When Srimuka means “beautiful face” in Malay, one expects a smooth and flawless custard surface on this cake… achievable when steamed at a low temperature.
A rich coconut pandan vegan custard is set on savoury glutinous rice base. We offer 2 variations of the rice base:
- White and marbled with Blue Pea flower extract
- Black or “Pulut Hitam”, similar to the flavours of the comforting black rice porridge.

Lapis | Layers
This is a 9-layer kuih. “9” or “kou” in Hokkien means “enough”, contentment, having achieved, having enough.
A favourite kuih for children’s parties, and as children we were taught to peel off each layer and nibble. As an adult, I still do.
